Emma Myers Video Game Worlds Wishlist: From Portal to the Wild West
Fresh off the success of A Minecraft Movie, Emma Myers isn’t slowing down—and she’s ready to explore even more virtual worlds, one franchise at a time.
In a recent interview, Myers revealed she’s more than open to starring in another video game adaptation. And she’s not picky. When asked if she’d join the upcoming Legend of Zelda movie, she laughed and said, “Whoever will have me in their video game movie.”
But it’s not just Hyrule on her mind.
“The Last of Us was incredible,” Myers noted, hinting that a gritty, character-driven story like Red Dead Redemption could be the perfect next step. “That would be sick.”
She even dropped a wild (and awesome) idea: voicing the iconic AI villain GLaDOS in a Portal adaptation.
“Just putting it into the world,” she added with a smile. “Even if I’m just a background character in Red Dead or the evil robot in Portal, I’m in.”
With A Minecraft Movie pulling in over $300 million in its first weekend and talks of a sequel already swirling, Myers is clearly becoming a familiar face in the video game movie space.
And based on her enthusiasm? This might just be the beginning.
From blocky adventures to high-stakes Westerns or twisted puzzle labs, Emma Myers is ready to hit start on whatever comes next.
